As long as they’ve left the past in the past, it shouldn’t be an issue, unless they’re repeating what they’ve done in the past, which sort of just circles back around to the “Have they left it behind them?”

Accepting the past is easy…. Problem is when the past keeps showing up in the present…with no reprieve in the future

No accepting of a past dealing w a pedophile!!! I could accept murder, drugs, theft and many others but messing w kids is not acceptable in any form. People who know and accept pedophile s are just as sick as them. Ahhh!

It’s one thing to accept someone’s past. It’s another when your significant other turns to that same past for comfort when things aren’t going perfectly between you.

Before entering a relationship with someone, ask yourself honestly if you can accept their past and the consequences that it may have on your future. If you can’t, don’t even begin to date. It will only hurt both of you in the end.
