I think this is completely misunderstood. In my opinion, it’s better to love someone who, despite being more than capable of living without you, still chooses you over other things. But it’s just me I guess.

No, no, no. Can’t stand to be without you is good but you don’t want someone who can’t stand without you! You want them to be independent just like you are.

I disagree. You should never be with someone that is so dependent on you that they cannot survive without you or vice versa. A great relationship is two people who are complete on their own but are better together.

That is stupid. I would much rather be with somebody who would be just fine on their own but chose to be with me anyway. That way I know that the reason there with me is not because they need to be but because they want to be.
