One day when you are older you need a companion you can talk to and enjoy being around and love taking care of them when they cannot care for themselves. Memories last forever. May you have many good memories to last a lifetime.

It is combination of that and many other things like respect, communication, compassion, honesty, and trust. The list goes on. With all this and so much more, is what creates love and intimacy. If all a couple has is the physical aspect, you don’t have much because a relationship tends to burn out faster because when passion and the newness fade some then you realize that is all you had in common was not love, just great sex. For some that may be okay but for others, they may want more than that. It is a personal choice.
