Nope, that’s an overly smothering insecure boyfriend. A real boyfriend just loves you & no one else. They won’t cheat on you, if you’re sick they’ll take care of you. You guys will always be a team, you always have each other’s back. He will always respect you, trust you, & give you space. That’s real, this here is all superficial.

I think calling and texting “all the time” is not love. Moderation of them?! Yes for sure. Jealousy is NOT healthy. In my opinion anyway. A jealous boyfriend will end up single if he brings that to me. And I think all that applies to both men and women .

Yeah, this graphic describes an abusive relationship. Promoting this shit is. Not. Cool.

Why don’t you post a graphic about consent, or standing up for yourself, or mutual respect and love? I guess that wouldn’t get as many shitty clicks.

Synonym for jealousy is distrust.. if you don’t trust your partner, There’s no reason to stay. Without trust there’s nothing.

That’s too much… you just can’t stop anyone from living their life you cannot steal their personal space and privacy you just can’t lock her into prison just for the sake of your love..if you love her be with her in all situations and trust her completely…and let her do what she want to

Texting a play by play… A definitely A DONT DO. It can definitely irritate the shit out of us girls. Feeling smothered and he she just looking for attention and or approval.
Giving space is all WE NEED

Jealously should NOT be a part of being a REAL BOYFRIEND that is not healthy for a relationship…Look in the news to see where jealousy gets most of these relationships based on that

Why would anyone think that this is the ideal boyfriend?! Society is so wrong, he shouldn’t be jealous, overprotective and wanting to call you every second.

This is exactly why there are so many unhealthy relationships. If your partner always gets jealous and is over protective, then that is NOT love. That just means they don’t trust you and want control. I’ve seen this mentality in so many of my students. They think it’s “cute”. Ummm no.

Unless ur dating someone in the army who just started basic training…. U text when u can, and hope he doesn’t get hurt.. And wonder how much it will hurt when he leaves for deployment for the first time

If a man is insecure and doesn’t trust……is maybe because he had many bad experiences with other people and even friends……But if he is a good person, he deserve someone who is patience with him and gradually teach him that he doesn’t have to be that way

If you think yourself to be real boyfriend, for some days stop initiating texts, stop wanting seeing your girl friend for few days. See if she initiates meeting , she initiates call or text. This will let you know if she is authentic or just a gold digger or not cheating on you.

That seems excessive to me. Maybe in very small degrees it could be mildly charming for a time but that seems like it would eventually turn into a problem.

Real love is difficult to find nowadays but those lucky one who have their love one must care and give full space in each other heart so that no one else can enter in it

I’m learning that this IS NOT a healthy relationship. I think about my girl all the time, but she knows that and I don’t need to bother her by trying to remind her of something she already knows. And overprotective and jealous? No. Not cool

I don’t think we should promote or interpret jealousy and over protectiveness as love, this is often the start to destructive and unhealthy relationships, a balance is important, you can show your love in many ways

I had this relationship and it didn’t work. He texted me all the time, but if I didn’t reply, he got mad and asked why I didn’t reply or said something…lol. Wherever I went he had to know, I’m not a prisoner, but he still said I didn’t respect….what!!. I agree with some comments here that healthy relationship should give some space to each other and trust that space.

Thats not a love, over protective and jealous are not a good combination, there should be no reason to be over protective if you trust, there should be no jealousy if you trust, thats just an unhealthy relationship
