One thing in life that’s important to learn is that you have to love someone how they’re ready to be loved. It’s not always about you, it’s about them. Sometimes a person is ready for a relationship and to be loved in an intimate sense, other times they may be at a point where a platonic relationship suits them better. If you care for them truly, you will realise this and adapt to them. What’s for you will no go by you.

That’s really hard no matter how much you love them, but I do agree it’s better then living with regret, but you have to put a time line as to how long you’ll wait for your protection!
