Mine made promises he could not even keep to family let alone my kids or my self ( fyi) his gf. It’s yea love them but they are toxic.

They’re not cheating others, they’re cheating themselves. They aren’t lying to others, they’re doing it to their own self. They don’t realize the hurt they cause to others, when someday it will come back on them. 🙂

The promises can only be broken if ur partner do the unbelievable thing you thought she would never do in your relationship.and that is “cheating to you.

Some untruths are non beneficial & doesn’t harm any one when there is no greed, so respect the thought of not creating any conflict in a group.

Ours is also don’t hit. Both of us have witnessed spousal abuse so when we got together on the front line was no hitting, no cheating and no lying.

Of course! But people always use these rules in love…they can not give up…but these rules will induce girls who will feel happier when they hear it from their boyfriends…. me too…. :))

#4 Do not get offended or go psycho, when your partner will not make a promise that he/she cannot keep.
#5 Do not have unnecessary expectation of forcing your partner to make such promises.

These all have negative connotations to me. Even the idea of “rules” I think puts people on edge. Rules are negotiable and subject to interpretation. Promises will always be broken, sometimes for reasons beyond our own control. It’s a slippery slope. Rather than focusing on what we shouldn’t do and slapping the word rules on it, I prefer to focus on what we should.

In all relationships we should be honest. That’s all those three rules mean.

most do not REALIZE or even except “cheating” is not just being physical, but also being emotionally, and verbally connected. IF YOU ARE HIDING IT……YOU ARE CHEATING !!!!!

Lying and hiding things and breaking promises lead up to or give opportunity to cheat in my personal past experience and opinion… and cheating is more than just sexual relations with someone else to me- flirting, talking to someone else, entertaining someone’s interest/gestures towards you… Who else feels the same?!

What I don’t understand is how a person can tell you so many lies and never feel bad about it. A lie may take care of the present, but it has no future.
