In the immortal words of Hank Scorpio, the little things are the big things

I do all of that myself now. Add in taking care of my daughter, working full time, and helping with school. Single dad. One little girl. No help, no one to do those things, because single dad’s aren’t interesting to anyone. I just hope she grows up to be a loving and conscientious person.

Andy Vining you’re that man. I notice every little thing you do for me.. like putting clothes in the dryer earlier tonight while I was busy with something else. Thank you for all of those “little things” because they truly mean the most. I love you! โค

I think the small things are actually the big things in a marriage/relationship. The glue that holds the relationship together. The small things that only your partner does for you, that makes your relationship unique to you. Grandiose gestures are just flashes in the pan. Small things on a consistent basis make my relationship what it is to me.

Relationships are better built off of the little things. My boyfriend comes to my work to spend my first break with me (sometimes bringing lunch or coffee,) and it’s simply the best thing because he’s giving me his most precious commodity, which is his time. He doesnt have to, he could be in bed. But he does, and it shows me he cares.

Everyone’s definition of little things is different. Learn each other. Both of you should do those things. You both deserve to be taken care of

Good luck with that. Was with someone for 18 years, married 13 of that, and he didn’t do anything besides go to work and bring home money. While I appreciated that (we’re divorced), he could have at least helped out with household stuff and the kids. I did it all and worked a “real job,” as he would call it. Because being a mom wasn’t a job, it’s just what I was “supposed to do.” Man, am I bitter. ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†
