Relationship Rules
I feel you should be able to show your weakness and someone who truly loves you will love you more for being 100%real not fake. That’s true ❤️ .
Open up your weakness to someone when YOU KNOW for SURE he/she WON’T take ADVANTAGE of YOU
Being too open can backfire. Sometimes less is best.
Wow that’s stupid! Your weaknesses are what make you human. Anyone who truly loves you will love you regardless!
Vulnerability is a beautiful part of loving and being loved back; it can bring a closeness that physical touch could never. Vulnerability is not dangerous, loving the WRONG people is.
I see. Ok. I’ll remember next time to be a fake, closed off moron like all the men I’ve dated. It’s always worked so well for them, that must be the answer to my relationship issues. If I don’t talk to them, we can be perfect together
I don’t agree this time ! If you are not open how would he get to know u ? If someone love you truly , trust me they love all yours bad and good !!! And yes about taking granted it depends on you or sometime they might be just wrong person !! Real people loves you anyway !!!!!!
Nonsense, how are you supposed to have a real relationship unless you share your vulnerability with someone
That sounds so bitter. I don’t think that’s a “relationship” rule.
The measure of a good partner is that they will love you even with weaknesses and they will complement you. Was post was written after a breakup or something?
Ok. We should all a demand a re-write of this rule! How would you all re-write this. At first glance, this quote doesn’t flow very well. Second, vulnerability equals love! If we shut down, we shut down the possibility of love! So, my easy re-write of this rule:
VULNERABILITY EQUALS LOVE! And, if you’re vulnerable and your partner doesn’t like that, MOVE ON and get ready for a REAL TRUE LOVE!
This one is bullshit. The more you open yourself up to the one you love the more that love can grow. If you truly love and trust someone then let them in. Let them see all of you. If they love you for your soul, your trust will be rewarded with a boundless love.
How would u kno tho without sacrificing yourself?
Only if it’s the wrong person……. The right person will love you even more, nurture and protect you, and NEVER take advantage of you………
Not EVERYONE deserves to know YOUR story so only share your story with those individuals that can see and appreciate how BEAUTIFUL you are in your state of vulnerability! Those are the people that will NEVER take advantage of You!! 😉
Wrong! Not everyone is out to hurt you so stop trying to convince others that just because one person hurt you and let you down means that everyone else will. I think you need to get over your heartbreak and relationship problems before you post them for the world to see. This is very bad relationship advice in my opinion and could up causing people to become depressed if they do take it seriously.
Cannot agree with that. Complete openness and transparency is necessary.
I don’t necessarily believe this I think that if you are giving someone your all you need to open your weakness up to them because that person is the one to make you feel safe
This is the worst rule you’ve posted. Keeping the walls up keeps your partner on the outside. That’s not a relationship, that’s an act.
These rules are fun sometimes but don’t take them seriously….Of course you need to be able to be vulnerable in a true relationship without hiding your weaknesses…you know better, don’t you?
Usually I like most of your quotes but this one is straight up wrong. Who has the energy to put up a face all the time to “feel” loved? Those who take others for granted are selfish. Period. Being genuine and showing your true self with light and shadows is called being real, not a bad decision.
But isnt that just part of love? To be truthfully open and genuine with your other half. If you can’t do it, what’s the point to even begin a relationship?
I would like to think you’re finding out who is worthy of your trust.
If you have a good man or woman in your life who loves you & cares about you, do everything to keep them forever. Never break their trust because you may never get it back, don’t ever make them cry and even think of losing them because you may never find someone else loving, caring and understanding like them. Don’t cheat on them, appreciate every little thing they do for you and be faithful and trustworthy to them.
I disagree. If you don’t open yourself and your weaknesses up to someone you are never truly 100% in. In order to love someone and them truly love you, you have to put it all out there…from that point on you can say, I gave it my all…regardless of how it turns out.
