Relationship Rules
That’s “happily ever after” stories don’t exist in real world.. All seeks perfectionism and avoid troubles, go and post something a bit real
But what if they don’t let you love them through their worst? You can’t force it if they don’t want it, and that’s hard.
Amen to that. It sucks. really sucks, to be there for someone in their darkest hour, and have them turn their back on you when you need them the most.
But 1- do NOT allow their struggles to bring you down and 2- if they aren’t working on fixing things, they’re not “struggling”, they’re “failing”.
Or what if you still love them but they have hurt u badly during there worst… sometimes you have to love from a far.
I’ve tried to help a friend through struggles, but he treats me like I don’t exist. I deserve better and I will get better than a cunt who fucks me and treats me like an afterthought.
when you get toknow someone online you are not seeing the whole person butthat does not matter personality comes through more and if you can help someone by just chatting it is good./
Yeah well that is all well and good but if the person in question is not making a real effort to end their struggle then the other person is only wasting time you have to have the desire to help yourself first!
There’s a difference in loving someone during their struggles and loving someone while they’re struggling and they aren’t doing anything to fix it. Self worth is way better than sticking with someone who isn’t fixing their problems and is treating you like s*** in the process
This is a very true statement and yet if their struggle is to get their head out their butt and realize reputation doesn’t matter and prison could be their next struggle the question is who going down is it them or you?. Some struggle are not worth supporting it depends what they are. You need to think very carefully how you will support someone.
Hah .. funny ,, because you love them during their happiness and struggle ,, when they are happy the love back ,, when they struggle they don’t ,, cause you have seen weakness and instead of appreciating your love and support ,, they just look for someone who hasn’t seen them weak .. so this is not a guarantee for a successful relationship ..
I get so sick of these ” love them while they are down” and blah blah blah….sometimes you have to walk away cause the other person sucks that much and won’t change cause you’re the sicker that keeps thinking it will get better….you have to love yourself and know your worth first…screw the other person for dragging you down while they most likely won’t fix the problem they are causing….all these “sayings” are just a way to make someone feel like crap b/c they walked away from a toxic person
I stayed with mine for 2 years and then realized he was an addict and continually lied to my face. We had to have him committed and he was gone for 2 1/2 months. I had to realize that it was better for me to get out of the situation
Not when the other person is selfish & self centered and thinks of himself/herself and does nothing to take care of his/her problem and then cries like a big baby after he/she messes up again, again, and again even when he/she has everything going good in his/her life. This comment gets old.
or you’re there through their struggles but once they’re not struggling anymore they drop you like an old rag and take you for granted
The same old story never ends in which you gave your best to bring someone’s smile while they were struggling
And then when you struggles, you’re named “hypersensitive”, “way too emotionally annoying” and so on
I used to believe in this til i realize that his only struggle is to get out of his selfishness and think about my feelings just for 1 freakin time. Sometimes, let go is the best option for both
