I learned that one the hard way my ex wife keep getting me to talk about my past when we were dating but she wouldn’t tell me anything about herself.
Then all during the marriage she used it against me by telling me well you did this and this. Red Flag if they aren’t prepared to reveal their past first I don’t give them any information about me.
Plus I tell them now my past is the past I don’t talk about it.

Bullshit tell the truth. The bad thing bout skeletons is they don’t like being in the closet.

I’ve come undone so many times to the point I’m only a fragment of who I was fifteen years ago … I wouldnt dare hold anyone at fault for not keeping up…. but that doesn’t mean dont try☺

This is why it is so important to know yourself, and love yourself. Because it would not matter what type of energy (negative/positive) the other person brings into your circle, you have already built a strong enough shield equipped to reject or allow whichever tries to encircles you.
