If you have to hide things from you partner, why are you with a person who won’t accept you as how you are? Hiding means you aren’t being your true self to that person, and you have to do it elsewhere.

Trust and honesty are the two most important aspects of a long lasting relationship

Yup honesty is the glue that holds all relationships.

I don’t think a lot of parents focus on teaching their children about how a relationship works. It’s easy to get bogged down on the business side of raising children and forget about the better more fun sides. Lessons like honesty and emotions in a relationship go by the way side because of the strictly business aspect.
