Relationship Rules
My house I always squeaky clean with dinner ready even though he is a marine ,and his schedule isn’t really set there is always food made for him no matter what time he is home 😉 we been married for 9 years and our home is his heaven after long working days and sometimes weeks on the field … There is no place like home, according to him. I’m a proud Marine wife I guess 😉
Ha! He wishes! Lol and why assume the man is working and the woman is not?
Safe haven my ass…
Agree with all the ladies! I deal with 20 kids at work. The last thing I need to do is to take care of a big one at home. He’s lucky if he gets a home cooked meal from me lol!
Both ways. ..
This may have applied decades ago, but not so much anymore. There are too many multiple income homes or single income homes with no “man of the house” for this to be applicable today.. you show a woman a man who supports his family 100%, both emotionally and financially, and that woman may show him a devoted housewife. Times have certainly changed, and thanks to the economy, infidelity, and multiple other things, “traditional” households are all but forgotten.. too many posts from this page do not reflect the changes of society.. this post is absurd..
This post is ridicules! Women work just as hard as men do!
Women work just as hard as men it goes two ways
This is retarded! Why just ladies? It works both ways.
And men, we woman also come back home after hrs of work tired and restless! So make sure she feels like her house is her safe haven!!!
What about HER safe haven???
And how about the women who put in just as many hours at work?
Think they need to scrap rule #1309. Or add what MEN need to make sure to do to make the LADIES home a safe haven. Things work both ways; let’s not step back to the 50’s now!
This is not the 50’s anymore. Get with the real times. A man can do this for his woman too, especially if she is working too.
Reading these comments and im seriously disgusted. Making my man happy and secure brings me more joy than anything in the world. He provides for me, gives me a roof over my head. The least I can do is make him dinner after his long day at work and school. I for one thing we should go back to how things were in the 50s when women didn’t complain so damn much!
I don’t think this post is referring to cleaning the house and feeding everyone and doing all the stereotypical “housewife” type things like some people are saying. I believe it’s simply talking about just being there to listen, comfort, nurture, be a friend, etc rather than nagging and the like. And yes, it goes both ways. Both man and woman should be like this. In fact this should apply to anyone, in all types of relationships. And if you’re still offended by this interpretation of this post… Then in my opinion you don’t belong in a relationship.
It is lovely to make sure he is well taken care of. It would also be nice if he acknowledge that she deserves rest, also. She can’t always keep going, going, and going.
What about 99% of women in the world that works long hours every day? The days of housewives is mostly over, unfortunately.
Hahaha. I used to do that and worked full time and took care of the kids, house, dinner and was available for sex 24/7… he was cheating on me with a co-worker… yea working hard indeed… Now in my new relationship we share household responsibility 50/50, I set my boundaries and he cooks me dinner and treats me like I deserve.
Gentlemen, when she comes back home after hours at work, tired and restless. Make sure she feels like her house is her safe haven.
And the lady hasnt had the same day?
I come home after hours of work, tired and restless, too. Who’s making sure my home is a safe haven? Oh yeah. I am! After taking care of the dishes, laundry, dinner, and kids, that is.
That goes both ways
A woman who attentively waits on her man at the end of each day is a gift sent from above….Any man can have a house but it’s the woman within it that makes it feel like a home…..That my friends is where your heart lies.
And vice versa!
